Meditation for All In today's modern world the pressures of everyday life, regardless of our personal situation, seem to be ever greater. Our lives are more tense and stressful. The need to find suitable and beneficial ways of managing this tension and the resulting stress are becoming more and more necessary. The meditation sessions on Monday evenings are designed to help those taking part integrate a series of helpful exercises into their daily routine. They will help to reduce stress and tension, relax the body and mind and enable those taking part to relate to and understand what's happening to them throughout their day leading to a more relaxed and simple approach to life. The main focus of the sessions is to apply and experience the practices. The sessions are suitable for beginners and experienced students. For full details of the Monday evening meditation sessions please visit the Monday Programme page of our website. All the funds raised from the sessions are donated to Rokpa Aberdeen. The donations are placed in a fund which will be used to create the first Residential Healthy Living & Life Management Centre in Aberdeen to serve the needs of communities throughout the North East. It will be the base for outreach work throughout the Grampian Region.
