Big Turnout for 'A Crawl Down The Ogre'

Mountaineering legend Doug Scott CBE
gave a fascinating account of his epic climb of the Ogre when he visited Aberdeen in November.   Located in the Karakoram mountains of Pakistan, it is widely regarded as one of the hardest peaks in the world to climb and his illustrated lecture featured broken ribs, pneumonia and an 8 day rescue.

Doug's talk was organised by Rokpa Aberdeen and formed part of a mini tour of Scotland to help raise funds for the school and health posts he sets up through his charity Community Action Nepal and for Rokpa projects run by Ven Karma Jiga.

A big thanks to all who supported the event.  Hope you enjoy the photos!
